ASUS N73JQ-A2 17.3-Inch Laptop

ASUS N73JQ-A2 Laptop is excellent. Note that in addition to the aluminum lid, the screen has a sheet of ultra-clear protective Plexiglas over it (edge-to-edge display); this feature not only protects the surface of the display but adds more strength to reduce bending or warping in a bookbag.  The hinges are an inch wide, smooth, and tight.   The ASUS N73JQ-A2 Laptop keyboard is somewhat flexy, but it is fine for fast, quiet typing. The touchpad works well, very smooth and reliable.

The ASUS N73JQ-A2 Laptop runs quiet and cool. I thought I’d have a warm keyboard with the CPU and GPU, but the ASUS N73JQ-A2 Laptop stays very close to room temperature on all surfaces.

The sound is amazing. Pretty much like a small TV with stereo, rather than what I put up with in past laptops.  The display is rich and vivid, and the colors are very accurate.

The one thing I’d like to see improved is battery life. Set to full performance, I get only two hours. With the Power4Gear set to battery saving mode, I have gotten 2 hours 25 minutes just web surfing. A larger battery (this one is six-cell) would be very nice.
